Ingredients
- 1 cup (240 ml) hot water (not boiling — about 80°C / 175°F)
- 1 green tea bag (or 1 teaspoon loose green tea)
- 1–2 teaspoons honey (to taste)
- 1–2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice (to taste)
- Optional: a lemon slice for garnish
Instructions
- Heat water
- Heat water until it’s hot but not boiling (boiling water can make green tea bitter).
- Brew tea
- Place the tea bag or loose tea in a cup.
- Pour hot water over the tea.
- Steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on your taste preference.
- Add lemon & honey
- Remove the tea bag or strain the leaves.
- Stir in honey until dissolved.
- Add lemon juice and stir gently.
- Serve
- Garnish with a lemon slice if desired.
- Enjoy warm.
